Damianito

I am sure this has a proper name but I kind of discovered it by accident when trying to think of a use for my blender thing, which my sisters gave me as a house warming present. You see I couldn't crush ice for proper Mojitos. Be warned though, I have made this at other people's parties and you always end up having to spend the entire evening behind the bar serving an endless supply of flirty but fickle women.

INGREDIENTS
Serves 4

4 Limes or 2 Lemons (or a mix of the two)
4 Good Handfuls of Ice
3 Tablespoons of White Sugar
A Cup of White Rum (pref. Havana Club)
A Few Leaves of Mint (optional)

Lemon or lime juice, ice, sugar and rum all go in the blender. You can add a few mint leaves at this stage for a green tinge to the drink. Blend until it is a slush puppy type consistency. Check for tartness and add sugar to taste and give it another whirl if necessary. Serve in glasses and top each damianito off with three mint leaves.

Should take about 2 minutes to make and it is guaranteed to please.
